It starts with a full desalination wash — chloride pulled out of every surface it has settled into, not rinsed across them. Then the deep clean: non-skid, fittings, hatches, rails and every recess salt collects in. Seating and upholstery are cleansed and conditioned so the material stays soft instead of drying and cracking.
Multi-stage correction on gelcoat and paint — oxidation, chalking and swirls machined out until the surface reads deep again rather than flat. Stainless is restored in the same pass: rust bloom taken off the inox, the metal brought back and sealed so it stops feeding the salt.
Once the surfaces are right, they get sealed. Polymer for a boat in constant, hard use; marine-grade ceramic where longer endurance is wanted. Teak is protected against UV and salt without being suffocated, so the wood keeps its colour and its grip. Fabrics are impregnated so water and stains sit on top instead of soaking in, and the tubes of a RIB get their own dedicated treatment against the UV that chalks and hardens them.
